Dude, A Dell Or A Gateway?

Which is better, Dell Dimension 5150C or Gateway FX510XT? Now these two computers are both from well-known companies. Both very nice machines, that is if you have the money! That is with both machines topping the $4 000 mark. The Dell comes in cheaper at $4 152 and the Gateway at $4 359.97, a $307.03 difference.

Here are some of the major differences; Gateway offers a 1000 GB hard drive whereas Dell only offers a 500 GB hard drive. Dell offers 4 096 MB of memory and Gateway offers just 4 GB. Gateway offers a 9-in-1 media card reader and dell offers just a standard 3.5” floppy Drive.

As you can see Dell delivers more in the accessorizing department (i.e. Sound System, Printer, Digital music and Digital Photography. So the Gateway seems to be more for not the extreme gamer but the type of gamer who likes to sit down every once in a while and play a game with out the jerkiness some PC’s can give you. The Dell, on the other hand, seems to be for the businessmen. It offers many applications (standard) that would enable a person like this to do many different types of things; spreadsheets and photos and word applications. So, in my opinion both computers are quite nice but really what average person has between $4 000 and $4 400 to spend to buy a computer and if you do, well hopefully I have helped.
